OnePlus 6 and 6T Receive Android 10 Update with New Open Beta Build

OnePlus is rushing to bring the latest Android experiences to more of its devices. Information technology has already rolled out the stable Android 10-based OxygenOS 10 update to OnePlus 7 and 7 Pro devices earlier last month. And well, the visitor recently promised that OnePlus vi and 6T users volition soon be able to savour Android 10 as well.

Keeping that promise, the Chinese behemothic has today started rolling out the much-awaited Android ten update to its previous-gen OnePlus vi and OnePlus 6T devices with the latest Open Beta build. This brings all of the new features we've seen OnePlus talk almost at its OnePlus 7T series launch events, with a slightly revamped and snappy UI.

Some users have already downloaded the latest Open up Beta build and in the process of making the leap to Android 10. Since this is a beta update, yous won't see OTA update notifications instead, you lot will have to download the Open Beta ROMs via these links –OnePlus 6 and OnePlus 6T if you're eager to test out the new features.

The Open Beta 1 build not just brings Android x to OnePlus 6 and 6T users, but also offers them access to new redesigned UI, new fullscreen gestures (with edge swipes), improved Ambience Display and Game Infinite settings, and more. Here's the complete changelog for this Open up Beta update:

  • Enhanced location permissions for privacy
  • New customization feature in Settings assuasive yous to choose icon shapes to be displayed in the Quick Settings

• Full-Screen Gestures
  • Added inwards swipes from the left or right border of the screen to become dorsum
  • Added a lesser navigation bar to let switching left or correct for contempo apps

  • New Game Space characteristic now joins all your favorite games in i place for easier access and better gaming feel
• Smart brandish
  • Intelligent info based on specific times, locations and events for Ambient Display (Settings – Brandish – Ambient Brandish – Smart Display)

  • Now possible to block spam past keywords for Message (Messages – Spam – Settings -Blocking settings)

OnePlus added a note in the official forum post, pointing out that Open Beta one build has been released but for "OnePlus 6/6T unlocked Non Carrier variants," which could mean users in the United States or the Britain may not be able to effort out Android x right away.
